Come play in the spaces between art and movement! Join artist Kristina Mah for "Blood, Breath, Water" – a three-part journey inspired by the works of Lee Ufan, Yayoi Kusama's cosmic blooms and other pieces from the collection in the Elemental exhibition in the Asia Lantern gallery.
We'll weave through Lee Ufan's contemplative spaces and dance with Yayoi Kusama's vibrant blooms. Each session builds on the last, yet stands complete on its own. These workshops offer a unique approach to generating knowledge through the body by developing attentional and relational qualities that deepen our connection to ourselves, each other and our environment. Begin by stepping into a liminal threshold within “Family Stones". Next, we will gather in Lee Ufan's "Road to Heaven" to explore bodily listening and connecting with our innate vitality. Finally, let Kusama's cosmic garden inspire us as we transform quiet power into spontaneous expression.
No need to be a dancer – just bring your curiosity! Through simple, engaging movements, we'll discover new ways of reflecting and being with art, connecting with others, and letting our own creativity bloom. Come for one session or join the full journey – each evening opens a unique door to delight and exploration.
